Featuring a roster of popular television channels, this client is a world-recognized portfolio of media brands with hundreds of millions of monthly viewers. Considering all the programs and fans in tow, the creation of a considered, well-segmented email calendar was vital to the company’s plans.
What We Did
The company first requested our assistance in organizing its editorial efforts. The aim of the leads and managers was to create an ordered calendar of their individual newsletters, write and verify the content of the newsletters, and implement multivariate testing to improve Open and Click-Through Rates, and overall engagement.
As the initial work progressed, the scope expanded to data management/strategic reporting, improving production workflows, and recommendations on and full migration to a new, more capable ESP.
The Solution
Our team assessed and organized the brands’ existing newsletters. Through this exploration, Ragnarok became an extension of the editorial department while reinforcing brand voice and content. We then standardized their email templates by supporting the implementation of Taxi, greatly reducing production time while also re-organizing existing automation flows.
The Results
We overtook the management of multiple brands’ newsletters, as well as show alerts across all brands. Ragnarok also lead the implementation of Taxi email template tool with full training. Additionally, we constructed the subscription management of 34+ options via Iterable as well as the weekly production of four newsletters meeting tight deadlines.
